Siena Summary

We rounded off our second and last night by walking around the Piazza
again and sitting back down to people watch.

This city got top marks in our book. No one haggles you and although
there are plenty of tourists the city maintains its charm and
originality. You're free to walk around and mingle with locals. They
are such a proud people that it just makes you want to belong to their
group. In the hotel I read that they are descendants of Etruscans and
are characterized by their slanted eyes an thin nose ridges. I joked
with Grace that maybe I'm Etruscan too because eyes don't get anymore
slanted than mine, unless you're Asian .... Or Forest Whitaker.

If we ever come back to Italy a stop off in Siena is an absolute must.
