Albergo after check out and he was perfectly fine with it. So this
gave us the whole day to tour. We were done by about 4pm and were not
far from the train station. So Grace found a spot on a bench and I
rented a bike to get back to the historic center to get our bags from
our room. . Did in two trips and went very well actually. Except that
Grace's role of Florentine paper didn't fair so well .... a little
wrinkly now.
Oh right, the summary. I'm going to go ahead and call Lucca a work in
progress. You see a lot of restoration projects going on in the city.
It needs it. A lot of the buildings are lacking maintenance and it is
sad to see. This is a beautiful town and that wall gives it the most
points. They just need to poor some money on the rest of their hidden
gems to bring them up to par.
