Levanto

So we arrived in Levanto at around 5:30 pm on Thurs.

The train station looked much closer to our B&B on the map than in
real life. It was a scorcher and those bags are feeling heavier. When
we arrived the owner greeted us. He is a really nice fellow and
offered to drive us back to the station when we leave. I'm totally
taking him up on the offer.

Why Levanto? Levanto is sometimes called the gateway to Cinque Terre.
North to south you will go Levanto then start with the Cinque Terre:
Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manorola, and Riomaggiore.
We chose Levanto because all we kept reading was that the Cinque Terre
was just teaming with tourists and we just want a place to relax for
these 3 days. Plus, the train stops are literally 5 minutes from each
other. So your home can be even further if you like.
This is our plan. Day 1: Beaching it. Day 2: Grabbing the Cinque Terre
Rail and Trail Park card and visiting. Day 3: Beaching it :)
