The Duomo (Siena)

Probably one of of, if not THE, nicest churches I have ever been
inside. This place is so ornate that every square inch has some
detailed sculpting work done to it, inside and out. What makes this
church especially wonderful are the marble mosaics on the floor, they
are guarded off so that you cannot walk on them. Good thing too
because in other areas that have high traffic over the years, the
detail has started to wear off.
