Train Ride to Milan

We woke up this morning and had our last breakfast on the terrace. The
host actually reminded us that he would be giving us a lift to the
station. Just awesome, cuz part of it is an uphill climb. I had enough
time to walk back to the WiFi hotspot and upload all the posting I had
up until last night.

We got to the station in time to buy the tickets and confirm our
arrival to the hotel in Lake Como.
A little nervous about the train tickets because the first leg to
Milan is an Intercity train and needs reserved seats. Should have
bought them when we arrived. But it turns out there is plenty of room.
We are in car 9 and with window seats 65, 66. This totally beats out
Regional, very comfy. LED reading lights, and power sockets to
recharge ... an iPhone for example ;) Man, would have been nice to
have done this trip before my time at ALSTOM, things would have been a
lot simpler to pick up :) Let me say, a new appreciation for Passenger
Information Systems.

So this is one of the few realtime typing sessions. It is 12:17pm our
time so you guys are just getting up. And I'm completely caught up !!
Will try to upload when we arrive.
