This is the same point of view as the previous photo. Belaggio has the
best view point of the center of the lake and it actually had a
strategic location during wars. That is why the villa has a number of
watchtowers.
Today these watchtowers have been turned into studios. People from all
over the world ( poets, writers, painters, philosophers, etc. ) can
apply to come study here for 4 weeks and are given a watchtower to
spend the days in ... you know ... working.
