Gondolas

Just south of the piazza is where many gondolas are stationed. The
water is a lot more wavy here but the gondaleers make it look
effortless as they row east and then north under the first bridge to
head into the canal network. I was actually quite surprised to see how
elegantly Vaporettos, Taxis, and Gondolas coexist in the same space.
They all seem to know exactly where to move to keep out of each others
way and keep the flow moving.
